MaxiPARTS General Manager, Peter Loimaranta, said he was delighted to announce the Central Coast Truck Parts acquisition. “This strategic acquisition is complementary to the existing MaxiPARTS wholesale and retail network and will further improve our expanding coverage of the Australian market,” he said.
Mr Loimaranta went on to explain that very little will change behind the scenes at Central Coast Truck Parts. “Glenn Heenan, the current manager, and his team will be remaining with the company, so in that sense it will certainly be business as usual. These guys are experts in their field – I am sure they will be a great addition to our existing MaxiPARTS network.”
Central Coast Truck Parts is a leading provider of truck parts, accessories and consumables in the Warnervale area (Central Coast NSW), specialising in after-market parts for International vehicles. “With the addition of MaxiPARTS diverse core product range, MaxiPARTS Central Coast will be a one stop shop for the area,” claimed Mr Loimaranta. “So whether our customers are after a car fridge, tool kit, LED light, tyres or axles and suspensions, they will be able to find it at our store.”
“The relocation of the Moorebank warehouse is also very important to our long term strategy,” Mr Loimaranta said. “The larger, 1500sq.m site in Ingleburn will allow us to increase our ability to ship product directly into the Sydney area and has great access to the major Sydney freeway networks, providing improved freight connections to our reseller customers throughout the state. The new site will also allow us to service the Southern Sydney Metro trade and retail markets as well as combining with Central Coast business and other MaxiPARTS stores to provide a comprehensive Eastern Seaboard branch network allowing us to provide a market leading service solution to national operators.”
Mr Loimaranta said that “both the Central Coast Truck Parts acquisition and the Moorebank relocation form a part of MaxiPARTS’ growth strategy, following the recent opening of our new store in Mackay. It’s exciting to be expanding our network once again.”
